Our Shul
Jewish North York Centre - JNY Synagogue is open daily, with a Minyan for Shachrit, Mincha and Arvit. Everyone is welcome regardless of their personal level of religious observance.
Under the spiritual guidance of Rabbi Yisroel Karpilovsky, a warm, caring and energetic individual. The JNY welcomes you to celebrate a joyous milestone or find comfort during a difficult time.
The services are traditional, and are conducted in a joyous, atmosphere. Children are included and most welcome. The prayer books are bi-lingual (Hebrew, Russian and English), with the weekly sermon given in Russian.
An important part of our community is the weekly Kiddush that follows the Shabbat morning services, where friendships are created and nurtured and we celebrate each other's happy occasions.
